Strategic Hiding/Ambush Spots
    A strategic spot is a place where you have a tactical advantage over your opponent, whether it is by the element of surprise, a higher elevation, and what not. I am by no means advocating camping by revealing this list. Most, if not all, of these strategic spots are to be taken if/when you know the enemy will be coming your way soon. This can be ascertained if/when you hear the enemy go up a lift, go through a teleporter, push a button, and so forth. Knowing what direction your enemy is coming from is especially important, because some of these spots may be extremely effective if the enemy is coming from one direction, but will leave you wide-open and vulnerable from another. As soon as you hear the cue that the enemy is coming, take up a good strategic spot to ambush him.
     
    Note: If you get rockets and armor and just sit at a spot until the enemy walks by, it is considered camping, which in most cases, scores low on the "style scale", and high on the "lame scale."
 
Front side Ambush Spots

    In the corner on top of the
    nail gun pack in the main room
