Enter the Yellow Armor
    There are several ways to sneak into the Yellow armor. Since the YA is one of the most important objects on this level, you need to come up with many tricky ways to steal it away from an opponent who has control of it. Similarly, you also need to know all the tricks to stop him from sneaking in. Here are all the ways you can sneak in to the YA room, and vice versa for your opponent.

    Run The Gauntlet

    The most obvious, blatant, and noisy way to get to the YA is to run through the spike traps in the backside. This is probably the worst way you can get to the YA. When walking through the spikes, you let your opponent know exactly where you are. The spikes are loud and can be heard anywhere on the level. The only time you want to do this is if you know your opponent is on the opposite side of the level and you can beat him to the YA. Or, if you respawn in the spikes and are pretty sure you can get to the YA before your opponent comes back, make a run for it.

    Sneaking In and Rocket Jumping

    This is probably the best way of sneaking into the YA room. The water under the spikes area is very shallow -- you don't need to breathe when you are walking through. You can be totally silent the entire way through. You can wait around underneath the YA till you're sure your opponent has left the area, then rocket jump up to the platform. If you pick shirt/pant colors similar to the color of water, you may be able to camouflage yourself in the water. You can get to the YA armor in the water from anywhere in the level. Almost all of the water in the level is connected in some way or another.

    Straight from the Grenade Room

    This is another alternative to sneaking into the YA room. Though the chances are if you've made it that far into the GL room, you can probably just walk to the YA without having to sneak in. However, in the instance that you do need to sneak in, drop down onto the super nail-gun ledge from the tiny bridge. If you want to be really sneaky, don't drop onto the super nail-gun. That way, it only sounds like a drop rather than a drop and then a weapon pick-up. After you drop down onto the ledge, drop into the water (if you think the YA area is clear.) Proceed to rocket jump up and get the YA.
