Hanging Out in the Ceiling
The area above the ceiling in the open area is high enough that most people don't realize you can reach it, but low enough below the sky that you can actually get on top of it without hitting the sky.

It can, however, only be reached by doing a grenade jump or rocket jump. From either the GL platform or the opposite side (where the YA teleport comes out), do a rocket jump up to the ceiling. You will find it hard-pressed to make it to the ceiling in one jump if you do not execute a relatively perfect rocket jump. So some of you may want to do it in two rocket jumps, by rocket jumping to the step right below the ceiling, then doing a tiny rocket jump up from there to reach the top. See demo.
Interesting Tactic
Situation: You're on the moving platform going towards the GL. Suddenly, rockets come flying at you from the bottom, but you can't tell from which direction they are coming from. Instead of staying on the platform looking around frantically like a sitting duck, rocket jump up into the ceiling through the grates. This will not only surprise the hell out of your opponent, but it will give you multiple routes in which you can take, as well as make yourself a very hard target to hit. See demo.
Additional Tactic
Situation: You're standing across from the GL platform with a RL but only 1 rocket left, and you want to get over to the other side to get more ammo. The problem is, your opponent is at the bottom with rocket launcher in hand, waiting to fire a rocket in your face as soon as you step onto the platform. Instead of playing into his plan, rocket jump up to the ceiling and run across the ceiling, then drop down to get the GL, 100% health, and ammo pack. More than likely, your opponent won't even know what you did till it's too late.
