Covering Each Other's Asses
No matter how good your players are, at one point or another, control of the RL area will be lost. It's inevitable - the RL area has little health and only one armor to share amongst two players (the two RL guys). Occasionally the quad guy may need health and armor too, making things even harder for the RL guys to maintain a decent armor/health level. Thus, how quickly the team recovers from a breakdown in control is what separates the good teams from the great. This is the order in which things take place, and how people should react to them when they do.

    1. Losing control of the RL area
As I stated earlier, this is inevitable. There are many ways control can be lost in the RL. The two RL guys can run out of ammo or health, they could be killed, they can be discharged… any number of things can do it. So, what happens next?

    2. Quad guy takes back RL area
The second line of defense, first being the RL guys, is for the quad guy to try to take back the RL area. Here are the assumptions made:

    • Most/All of the enemies in the RL area are hurt. We assume this because they had to fight off both RL guys.
    • The enemy does not have all four of their guys in the RL area, as your RL guys likely killed some of them.
    • They have good weapons, but are probably scattered and not at all organized. They just took back control of the RL area, so they have guys everywhere, trying to get healed up, armored up, or get themselves a rocket launcher.

So, here is where the quad guy comes in. Your quad guy is at 150/100, with a rocket launcher and possibly even a lightning gun. The enemies are all hurt, armor-less, and disorganized. His chances of taking back the RL, when he has Quad, are pretty high. A shrap a rocket and a love tap from his quad shaft and the area should be yours again. If he saves the packs, your RL guys should be back and ready to roll in no time.

Of course, we all know that it doesn't happen that way all the time. Sometimes the enemy just rolls over your RL guys, and they are beefed up and prepared for the quad guy. So what do you do when your quad guy is killed or fought off?

    3. RA guy saves the day
This is your last line of defense. Your RA guy has been sitting in the RA all day, fighting and picking off the enemies who escaped from the RL and ran to the RA area to get armored up. If the enemy team just launched an assault to take back the RL area, it's very likely that he hasn't encountered many enemies recently. So he's at 200/100, with an RL. So what does he do?

The RA guy should jump over to help, if the quad guy did not succeed in taking back the RL area. His chances are even better than the quad guy's, since the enemy is probably even more hurt now than they were before. Even with two or three enemies with RLs, the likelihood that they are all armored up is very slim. Right before this point, the enemy is probably thinking that they are in the clear, and that they won't encounter any enemies with RLs for a while. The obvious advantages lie with your RA guy.

    4. RA guy does not succeed
Again, we know that nothing is for certain. So what if the RA guy only manages to kill one of the enemies, but has to retreat because he was too badly hurt? That's okay… as long as you have at least one guy with an RL, you're not totally lost. Retreat back to the RA to get re-armored and re-healed. When your team is regrouped, attack in pairs rather than alone.
