Quad Damage Keeper
    Areas Covered

Quad platform/Pent window - Roams all areas
The quad guy does the obvious; he controls the quad damage. That is his highest priority. He will help out (when he has quad) at the RL area or at the RA/SNG area, depending on which side needs help. What he needs to do is make a bind that says, "Do you need help at RL?" The RL guys will respond either "Yes" or "No." If the answer is yes, he goes and helps RL. If the answer is no, then he goes through the RA/SNG area to sweep for enemies who've escaped with the RL. He will occasionally help cover at either (when he doesn't have quad) of the areas when their control is threatened. However, he always goes back to the quad, not only because having four times the damage is useful, but also because you don't the other team to get their hands on it.

The quad guy generally gets the most kills, because the quad deals some major offensive whoppage. You will want to put your best player at the quad, since he's in charge of taking back the map, or clearing out camped areas such as the RA.

Note: The quad guy also controls the pentagram. He should be the one keeping tabs on it, since he has the most versatile role and has the ability to roam around freely. If he jumps out to get the pent, the RA guy should cover quad for him.

What does it take to be a 'Quad guy?'

Oftentimes the quad guy is the best player on the team, so most of his skills lie in the "regular" stuff, such as aim, movement, and knowledge of the level. Here's a summary of what he needs to be extremely talented at:

    1. Quick and Accurate Aim - Quick aim? What about quick aim? What's so great about it? Well, being the quad guy actually is a lot tougher than it sounds. As you all probably know, the quad makes the player glow and makes it especially easy to see them around corners. Additionally, any enemy who sees a quaded player will warn the rest of his team with a simple bind saying, "Enemy has quad!!!" This is where quick aim comes into play. When the quad guy has to clear out an area, such as the RA, where there are multiple dark spots and ledges to be camped, quick and accurate aim is essential and absolutely necessary. Rockets and grenades will be raining down on him from above, so he must see, act, and shoot fast. He must be able to kill at least one or two enemies instantly, or there'll be too much enemy fire raining down for him to handle.

    2. Knowledge of where Teammates are at - The Quad guy must always know where his teammates are. There must not be any exceptions, as he has to make split second decisions on whether or not he's going to fire at the sound he just heard. Although knowing where your teammates are at is important in all facets of the game, it is especially important for the quad guy because his "accidental" shots can be fatal.

    3. Team-play Oriented - This is a little different than that of the teamwork necessary to play the RL area. In this case, the quad guy must not be a frag-hungry player. He has to concentrate on getting the job done, to protect the quad, rather than go hunting for frags. If his teammate is fighting directly under him when he has quad, he has to hold back his shot, or risk killing both his teammate and the enemy. Additionally, if he has an itchy trigger finger, he can hurt the team more than he helps. The quad can kill instantly, friend or foe… so they have to always make sure what they are shooting at is a foe before they fire.

    4. Being Aware of Who Dies - The quad guy must watch the death messages carefully. If, for example, he sees his RA guy die, then he knows that they've not only lost control of the area, but that he must take it back with the next quad. A good quad guy will react and acknowledge these situations instantly. He'll see the death message, pick up the quad, jump over to clear RA, save the pack for his RA guy, then leave and jump back over to the Quad.
